Job summary

Insight Global in Canada is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to support ERP and Business Systems with SAP and S/4HANA initiatives in a retail environment.

You will coordinate with business, technology, SAP, and application teams to drive execution, governance, and alignment on priorities and milestones. This role demands highly organized, proactive planning across multiple workstreams, with strong Jira, Confluence, and Power BI usage.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Project Management experience, preferably supporting large ERP or technology programs.
• Strong SAP project delivery experience, including SAP/S/4HANA environments.
• SAP Retail and/or retail industry experience.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple applications, integrations, and cross-functional workstreams.
• Hands-on Jira for project planning, tracking, workflows, and reporting.
• Experience with Confluence, SharePoint, and Power BI for governance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead project coordination and execution across SAP/S/4HANA initiatives and multiple integrated applications and workstreams
• Collaborate with business, technology, SAP, and application stakeholders to gather updates and maintain alignment
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and delivery schedules
• Own governance and status reporting with clear visibility into progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones
• Establish Jira structures, workflows, and tracking practices to support execution
• Coordinate across project POCs to ensure deliverables and dependencies are understood
• Drive project meetings and actions with clear ownership
• Coordinate resource onboarding and project readiness (access, connectivity, documentation)
• Identify risks and blockers and drive resolution
• Maintain RAID logs, decision tracking, and governance standards
• Support change management, adoption, and post-implementation activities
• Build strong relationships across technical, functional, and business teams

As a Sr. Project Manager, you will support the ERP and Business Systems team in the delivery of complex SAP and S/4HANA initiatives within a retail environment. You will work closely with business, technology, SAP, and application teams to drive project execution, maintain strong governance, consolidate information across workstreams, and ensure teams remain aligned on priorities, dependencies, risks, and milestones.

This role requires a highly organized and proactive Project Manager who excels at cross-functional coordination, stakeholder communication, governance, and driving projects forward within a complex technology environment.

• Lead project coordination and execution across SAP/S/4HANA initiatives and multiple integrated applications and workstreams
• Work closely with business, technology, SAP, and application stakeholders to gather updates, consolidate information, and maintain alignment across project teams
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and delivery schedules
• Own project governance and status reporting, providing stakeholders with clear visibility into progress, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and upcoming milestones
• Establish and maintain effective Jira project structures, workflows, and tracking practices to support project execution

• Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, decision tracking, and governance standards
• Support change management, project adoption, and post-implementation activities as required
• Build strong relationships across technical, functional, and business teams to maintain connectivity and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle

Skills and Requirements

• 10+ years of Project Management experience, preferably supporting large, complex ERP or technology programs
• Strong SAP project delivery experience, including experience within SAP/S/4HANA environments
• SAP Retail and/or retail industry experience
• Demonstrated experience managing projects with multiple applications, integrations, technical teams, and cross-functional workstreams
• Strong experience with project governance, status reporting, RAID management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder communication
• Hands-on experience using Jira for project planning, tracking, workflows, and reporting
• Proven ability to gather information across multiple teams, consolidate project updates, and communicate clear overall project status
• Experience coordinating resource onboarding, project access, connectivity, and readiness activities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable driving accountability across multiple teams and priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and blockers and drive them toward resolutionPMP, SAP Activate, Scrum, or comparable certificationExperience working in Agile and Waterfall environmentsExperience with Confluence, SharePoint, and Power BIExperience supporting large-scale S/4HANA implementations or transformation programs
