Location Description

Post Consumer Brands Canadian corporate office is in the country's largest city, yet just a short drive from nature and charming small towns. The Toronto office is home to about 40 sales and marketing professionals focused on Post Consumer Brands international presence in North America and beyond. Responsibilities

The Sr. Sales Manager is responsible for initiating and executing both short and long-term plans within the region for the international business. A key part of the role is to develop distributor and customer relationships, approve customer plans and monitor/course correct where required to deliver the Post Consumer Brands business and financial objectives.

  • Lead and develop strong lasting direct customer relationships between Post Consumer Brands and assigned distributors and customers.
  • Build strategic annual joint customer business plans (JBPs), budgets and forecasts to ensure achievement of key financial measures and business strategies.
  • Collaborate with external partners to accurately predict forecasts and manage trade spending. Input forecasts into Post Consumer Brand sales systems and inform business insights to sales HQ team.
  • Champion and execute all new product initiatives, trade strategies, category initiatives and consumer promotions for assigned customers.
  • Lead the development and execution of trade spending and promotion strategies that optimize trade spend across assigned customers in support of achieving annual revenue targets.
  • Proactively develop recommendations for assigned customers where required to ensure the achievement of Post Consumer Brands financial objectives.
  • Develop new customer opportunities including vetting capabilities, setting up customer profile and building business cases with support from other functions.
  • Be the region champion and thought leader within Post Consumer Brands on assigned region.
  • Be a strong advocate for international customers at Head Office.
  • Identify opportunistic growth opportunities within assigned region.

Working Location: Hybrid

  • This role is located at the Toronto office in North York. Typical hybrid schedule includes 3 days in-office (Tue-Thu) with remote flexibility up to 2 days a week.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

Experience

  • Must have 8-12 years’ experience in Branded CPG environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Customer focused and results oriented with demonstrated record of success.
  • Creative problem solver and ability to persevere in the face of objection or incomplete data.
  • Ideally have previous account experience working in top-tier multinational CPG business and/or broker management experience. Experience dealing with international brokers will be a plus.
  • Strong leadership and sound analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional team members.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Multilingual skills will be valued.
