Job summary

EllisDon in Edmonton is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex ICI construction initiatives from pre-construction through delivery. You will coordinate design, budget, and schedule with the Superintendent, and maintain strong client relations.

You will prepare regular billings, monitor cost reports, and lead project meetings while escalating risks to management. The role offers growth, learning, and a competitive compensation package in an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in ICI constructions, with at least 7 years in a Project Manager role.
• Experience with structural piling or concrete work is an asset.
• You can mentor and delegate to a large team while maintaining strong client relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion in coordination with the Superintendent.
• Prepare regular, timely billings for Owners and ensure timely payment of subcontracts.
• Meet with Owners and Architects professionally and communicate concerns and interests of the company.
• Monitor, interpret and forecast project cost reports to maintain positive cash flow.
• Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to support the team’s development.
• Submit project reports to Area Manager and escalate risks to management.

You As a Senior Project Manager Will

• Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent
• Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings
• Meet with Owners and Architects in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company
• Monitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow
• Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing development and progression
• Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated
