Sr HR Shared Services & Operations Coordinator

Job Overview

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Handle employee queries related to HR services and policies, including administering associate transactions throughout the employee lifecycle, such as onboarding and offboarding.
2. Collaborate with the HR team to ensure smooth onboarding processes, including processing government or company paperwork and obligations.
3. Work with HR business partners to address complex HR issues.
4. Manage workers’ compensation claims, unemployment requests, FMLA, and leaves of absences.
5. Review and redesign transactional HR processes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Three to five years of professional HR experience, preferably in an HR Shared Service team.
• Experience with Canadian Labor Rules.
• Recent experience with Workday or similar HRIS programs.
