Base pay range

CA$60.00 / hr - CA$80.00 / hr

Our client is a Calgary based oil & gas service provider. Currently, they are looking to add a Senior Financial Reporting Advisor to their team. This opportunity will start as a 2-month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements and working papers.
• Assist in the preparation and review of all disclosure documents (financial statements and accompanying notes, MD&A, Press Release, etc.)
• Research and provide consultation on new accounting pronouncements and relevant IFRS issues and how they impact the company.
• Support internal and external audit requests and inquiries by coordinating the response for any complex technical accounting queries.
• Assist with ad-hoc transactions / projects.

Requirements :

• 5+ years of financial reporting experience
• Experience with preparing IFRS financial statements
• Ability to write MD&A
• Strong preference for public company experience
• Experience with SAP and BPC is a nice to have
