Position Information

Access to accurate and quality data is crucial in today's healthcare environment. The University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI) Data Analytics department is seeking a candidate to join our reporting team. As a premier cardiac center, data requirements span clinical, operational, educational, and research facets. The successful candidate will meet with clinical stakeholders, assess needs, and develop solutions that integrate their understanding of hospital procedures with expertise in managing complex datasets to produce effective reports.

The department is looking for a candidate with a healthcare background and experience in reporting solutions, demonstrating leadership and analytical skills. Responsibilities include supporting organizational reporting needs, liaising between end users and the analytics team, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, and documenting processes throughout project phases.

Rotation/Shifts

Days, 8-hour shifts.

What You Will Bring

• A university degree plus equivalent relevant experience.
• Understanding of healthcare reporting needs and operational workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL, MS 365, Excel, PowerQuery, PowerBI.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to determine requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate across departments and with IT teams.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Epic certifications are an asset.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.
