Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Elicitation & Analysis: Conduct workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to gather and refine business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Current and Target State Analysis: Analyze current loyalty systems' business processes, integrations, and data models. Contribute to designing future-state business workflows post-merger.
- Documentation and Communication: Prepare high-quality artifacts including BRDs, user stories, use cases, process flow diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between business teams, product owners, architects, and technical teams across multiple product groups.
- Data Analysis and Mapping: Understand loyalty program data structures and contribute to data mapping, migration planning, and validation.
- Solution Validation: Support UAT by defining test scenarios, reviewing scripts, coordinating defect triaging, and validating solutions meet business expectations.
- Change Management Support: Assist in impact analysis and ensure effective change communication and stakeholder buy-in.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- 8+ years as a Business Analyst in enterprise system integration or modernization programs.
- Experience with loyalty programs, CRM systems, or hospitality domain preferred.
- Strong background with legacy Java applications and AWS cloud platforms is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with requirements management tools (JIRA, Confluence, ADO).
- Experience with APIs, data flows, UML diagrams, and data mapping sheets.
- Knowledge of IAM models, API Gateways, serverless architectures, and microservices is desirable.
Business and Soft Skills
- Expertise in business process reengineering, gap analysis, and user journey mapping.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders, high attention to detail, and ownership mindset.
Preferred Certifications
- CBAP (IIBA), Agile/Scrum certifications, AWS Cloud Practitioner (a plus).
