Position Information

The University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI) Data Analytics department seeks a candidate to join our reporting team. The role involves meeting with clinical stakeholders, assessing needs, and delivering reporting solutions, leveraging understanding of hospital procedures and complex datasets.
The ideal candidate will have a healthcare background, strong leadership, and analytical skills, supporting various reporting needs from operational to research projects, with varying timelines and requirements.
The primary responsibilities include:

• Providing reporting support and acting as a liaison between end users and the Data Analytics team
• Collaborating with stakeholders to determine requirements and goals
• Documenting processes and assessments throughout project phases

Rotation/Shifts
Days, 8-hour shifts.
What You Will Bring

• University degree plus relevant experience
• Understanding of healthcare reporting needs and operational workflows
• SQL database and query development skills, proficiency with MS 365 and analytical tools (Excel, PowerQuery, PowerBI)
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements
• Excellent communication skills
• Coordination skills with departments and IT
• Strong organizational skills
• Epic certifications are a plus
• Eligible to work in Canada
