Job summary

The role involves overseeing financial reporting for the Canadian operations, supporting the Canadian Finance, Sales & Marketing teams, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities include :

  • Managing month-end closing processes in line with group policies.
  • Analyzing transactions, reviewing general ledger accounts, and creating journal entries.
  • Reconciling accounts such as bank, intercompany, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and performing financial analyses.
  • Supporting internal and external reporting, including audits and tax submissions.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly financial reports and KPI dashboards.
  • Participating in budgeting, variance analysis, and strategic financial modeling.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective financial controls and processes.

Minimum Requirements :

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a CPG environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or working towards designation.
  • Experience with SAP S / 4 Hana and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong collaboration, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
