Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Oversee general ledger functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial records.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
- Analyze financial results and prepare insightful reports to support management decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial reporting and controls.
Skills and Experience:
- Accounting Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful analysis.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or project-based industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA designation is a must.
