Derivative Path is a private equity-backed, technology-focused capital markets and risk management firm that offers a best-in-class, end-user focused derivatives platform (“DerivativeEDGE” or “EDGE”) which clients can use independently for all interest rate and FX derivatives needs, front-office through back-office. We support the technology offering with a full suite of risk solutions, execution, and support services provided by experienced capital markets professionals. The Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to be a key contributor in our four-person Finance and Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

What You’ll Do

• Monthly financial reporting and analysis
• Day-to-day bookkeeping, including cost accounting
• Oversee AP and AR processes
• State and local tax reporting
• Support financial audits
• Assist in budgeting process
• Projects directed by CFO
• Maintain employee commission records
• Research technical accounting matters

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a private equity-backed company
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• CPA preferred
• Experience with Netsuite and Bill.com preferred
• Experience with financial audits
• Experience with accounting for multiple entities and business units
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and able to perform under pressure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
