Placements24 is seeking a Recruitment Consultant specializing in Construction and Property to identify and place project managers, engineers, architects, site agents, and development professionals for clients in the Kimberley region.

The role requires a strong network within these industries, with office-based responsibilities and a focus on delivering high-quality service and results in infrastructure and property development projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of recruitment experience in Construction, Engineering or Property.
• Proven ability to source and place candidates for technical and managerial roles.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for Construction and Property roles.
• Source, screen and interview candidates with industry-focused criteria.
• Develop and maintain client relationships in construction, development and real estate sectors.
• Utilise sourcing strategies to attract skilled professionals in civil engineering, architecture, QS and construction management.
• Coordinate client interviews and manage candidate feedback throughout the process.
• Meet and exceed placement targets for Construction and Property divisions.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
• Stay informed about industry trends and talent needs in the Northern Cape.

About the Role

Our client, a respected recruitment consultancy headquartered in Kimberley, Northern Cape , is actively seeking a specialized Recruitment Consultant to focus on the Construction and Property sectors. This is a vital role for identifying and placing key talent, including project managers, engineers, architects, site agents, and development professionals, for a range of clients across the region. The successful candidate will possess a strong network within these industries and a deep understanding of the unique skill sets required. This office-based role offers the chance to build a strong presence in the local market and contribute significantly to infrastructure and property development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for roles within the Construction and Property sectors.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates, verifying qualifications and experience relevant to the industry.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the construction, development, and real estate industries.
• Utilize effective sourcing strategies to attract skilled professionals, including those with experience in civil engineering, architecture, quantity surveying, and construction management.
• Coordinate client interviews and manage candidate feedback throughout the hiring process.
• Meet and exceed placement targets for the Construction and Property divisions.
• Maintain accurate records of client and candidate interactions in the company's CRM system.
• Stay informed about industry trends, projects, and talent needs within the Northern Cape .

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of recruitment experience, preferably with a specialization in Construction, Engineering, or Property.
• Demonstrated ability to source and place candidates for technical and managerial roles in these sectors.
• Strong understanding of the Construction and Property market dynamics in South Africa , particularly within the Northern Cape .
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients and candidates.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
• A proactive, client-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• A relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
