Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Specialist, Human Resources and Systems to join our dynamic team. The incumbent will support the research, data collection and set up of different workflows for various HR and Total Rewards related projects. The Specialist will assist with the daily coordination of project execution as well as implementation activities. This role will focus on the enhancement and optimization of our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Payroll system using Dayforce. As the Specialist, you will be accountable for analysis, configuration, validation, issue resolution and training of various Dayforce features.

The Specialist will help design, develop, build, configure and maintain system configurations based on business requirements. The Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate system documentation, including process workflows, system configurations and standard operating procedures. Working closely with various stakeholders, the Specialist will lead and facilitate the rollout of new modules and upgrades in Dayforce, as well as prepare post go‐live processes and manage enhancements to ensure smooth transitions and operations. This role will be key in utilizing and producing Dayforce reporting tools, staying current on features and updates, and auditing the data integrity of the system.

Qualifications

  • Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development or related undergraduate degree required
  • 3–5 years of work experience in project coordination and / or human resources experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced experience in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferred
  • CHRL / CHRP designation an asset
  • PMP or PROSCI designation an asset
  • Experience with multi-stakeholder communications and ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Demonstrated expertise in using metrics as well as having an analytical approach to inform, influence and communicate.
  • Previous experience in health services or academic environment preferred
  • Excellent multi-tasking, time management and organizational development skills. Strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Familiarity with policy and procedure development is an asset
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to create correspondence and reports, and prepare presentations and educational and training materials
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • An understanding of industry best practice
  • Proven attendance and punctuality.
  • Professional behaviour and communication that meets the standards of the professional regulatory college or association, as applicable, and the standards of Women’s College Hospital
  • This position plays a critical role in acting as an advocate for safety and will demonstrate principles, practices and processes that will optimize a safe environment for all
