The People & Equity Division, in partnership with the Technical Services Division, has initiated a multi-year capital project to enhance recruitment technology that integrates with the existing SuccessFactors system to support high volume recruitment.

This project offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual with strong recruitment expertise and an interest in technology and innovation to join the divisional project team.

Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and collaborating with various operational, technical, and external partners, the HR Consultant HRIS will contribute to the High-Volume Recruitment Capital project, focusing on improving the City’s Recruiting module within SuccessFactors. This role demands a thorough understanding of recruiting processes and their integration with Employee Central and Onboarding modules.

Responsibilities include:

  • Representing the SuccessFactors Recruiting team in research, testing, quality assurance, and implementation activities for high-volume screening, assessment, and interview scheduling functionalities.
  • Supporting the design, configuration, and deployment of SuccessFactors features to align with business needs, and recommending process improvements for efficiency and strategic alignment.
  • Contributing to testing, blueprinting, and integrating third-party vendor technologies with SuccessFactors.
  • Collaborating on the testing, configuration, and change management of the Redesigned Applicant Workbench.
  • Developing test strategies, creating test data, and executing test scenarios to ensure functionality meets requirements.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensuring successful system adoption.
  • Working with cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, Pension, and external SAP consultants to resolve issues and provide support.
  • Assessing change impacts and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Delivering presentations, conducting training sessions, and preparing reports related to HR systems and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with end-to-end recruitment processes in SuccessFactors, including screening, interview scheduling, and assessments.
  • Experience in system testing, report development, and managing SuccessFactors modules such as Recruiting, Onboarding, and Employee Central.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team, analyze needs, and recommend technological solutions.
  • Post-secondary education in business, HR, systems analysis, or related fields; certifications like Project Management or SuccessFactors SFX are assets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation, and the ability to work outside regular hours for project deployment.
