Qualifications

• Requires secondary school diploma and 2-3 year CC diploma in related field.
• Bachelor degrees in Child Studies, Sociology or Psychology will be recognized.
• BMS training/certification is an asset and related experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of IEP goals with classroom teacher and LRT.
• Monitor and support therapeutic programs as identified by staff and external agencies.
• Administer medication as authorized and maintain records per policy.
• Assist with personal care tasks to ensure student safety and well‑being.
• Support adaptive and assistive technology to meet individual learning needs.
• Communicate progress with students, parents/guardians, and staff as directed.
