Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board is seeking an Educational Assistant to support students with special needs, including physical, intellectual, and behavioural challenges. The role emphasizes teamwork, academic and emotional support within a school setting.

The successful candidate will work 33.83 hours per week, with the schedule determined by the Principal, and will be responsible for promoting independence and recognizing each student’s talents.

Competenze

• Relevant training in behaviour management or similar certifications.
• Experience working with students with special needs and with challenging behaviours.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Education: college diploma/degree or Educational Assistant certificate.
