Job summary

Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff, Canada, invites applications for a Spa Reception Agent at The Fairmont Spa. You will welcome guests, assist with treatment selections, answer calls and emails, and help maintain a seamless front-desk operation.

Starting rate is $20.18 per hour, with raises after six months and at three years. The role also offers benefits and staff perks including on-site accommodation for full-time staff, meal per shift, and access to staff discounts and pension plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in spa industry or hospitality preferably in a similar position
• Diploma or Degree in hospitality or related field an asset
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized greetings, assist with treatment selections, and resolve guest concerns to ensure an exceptional spa experience.
• Book and schedule treatments, respond to phone and email inquiries, and manage guest requirements with attention to detail.
• Oversee the reception area, control facility access, give tours, and maintain reception inventory and materials.
• Process payments for services and retail products, complete quality checks on spa bookings, and handle reporting tasks.
• Support Spa Reservations in a self-directed environment, adapt to shifting duties, and assist with other tasks as assigned.

Starting Rate: $20.18

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $25.54
