Job summary

Fairmont Banff Springs is seeking an Event Set‑Up Supervisor to lead daily banquet operations, coordinate setup and breakdowns, and ensure safe, smooth, and timely execution of all group functions in our event spaces.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, guest service excellence, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Guest service experience is an asset
• Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License with updated Driver’s Abstract
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and carrying/pulling over 20 lbs
• Able to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Responsibilities

• Build daily task lists, motivate your team, and work alongside them to ensure all event deadlines are met.
• Set up, maintain, and break down banquet rooms efficiently and safely, following event orders as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms, hallways, storage, and service areas; report any unsafe conditions or equipment.
• Complete office and clerical duties to assist with planning and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Provide consistent, professional, and friendly service while following all policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Job Description

Showcase your service and organization strengths as Event Set‑Up Supervisor, where your attention to detail, safety and quality will help “set the stage” for a successful group functions in our Event space.

Starting Rate

$27.86 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $30.56

Job Duties Include
