Job summary

Purolator is hiring an AM Sorter in Thunder Bay, ON. You will sort freight by destination, weight, and size to meet client delivery schedules.

Shift: Mon-Fri 03:15 AM – 09:30 AM with 15 paid/15 unpaid break. Wage: $19.34 per hour. This permanent role offers a stable schedule in a busy warehouse environment. Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks.
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out.
• Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer.
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles.
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items.
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
