Job summary

Purolator is seeking a Sorter to join its Kamloops, BC operation. The position is presented by Manpower as the staffing partner for this client.

Pay rate is $23.63/hour with a 2:00 AM–8:00 AM schedule, Monday to Friday, 27.5 hours per week and a 30‑minute unpaid break, offering steady early‑morning shifts.

Review of duties includes unloading freight, handling shipments, and verifying items for proper sort and delivery readiness.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery
