Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sonographer to join our Medical Imaging Department at Vernon Jubilee Hospital in Vernon, BC. This opportunity is a Relief Part Time (0.76) position with rotating day and evening shifts in a fast-paced environment.

• The Medical Imaging Department consists of 4 general ultrasound rooms and 3 echo rooms. Services at Vernon Jubilee Hospital include Screening Mammography, Diagnostic Mammography, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Radiography, Fluoroscopy and Nuclear Medicine.
• Shifts of work will be scheduled rotating day and evening shifts.

About The Job

The Medical Imaging Department consists of 4 general ultrasound rooms and 3 echo rooms. Services at VJH include Screening Mammography, Diagnostic Mammography, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Radiography, Fluoroscopy and Nuclear Medicine. General sonographers at VJH work on Philips and Canon equipment while Cardiac sonographers work on GE equipment.

This is a Relief Part Time (0.76) opportunity until the return of the incumbent.

Shifts of work will be scheduled rotating day and evening shifts.
