Interior Health Authority in Vernon, BC, is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography and Interventional Radiation Technologist to join the Medical Imaging team at Vernon Jubilee Hospital. The role involves performing CT and interventional procedures under a Radiologist, assisting during procedures, and entering patient data into RIS/PACS.

The position is a permanent part-time (0.75) with rotating day and evening shifts and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experienced Computed Tomography and interventional radiology technologist.
• Performs CT and interventional procedures as designated.
• Inputs patient data into RIS/PACS and communicates procedures to staff trainees.

About The Job

Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs special procedures such as computer tomography (CT), and/or interventional, as designated. Assists the Radiologists during procedure, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

This is a Permanent Part Time (0.75) opportunity.

Shifts of work will be scheduled rotating day and evening shifts.

This position does have on call
