Interior Health is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography/Interventional Radiation Technologist for Vernon Jubilee Hospital in Vernon, BC. This permanent position offers part-time hours (0.82) with shifts rotating between evenings and nights, and an hourly wage of CA$80.00.

The successful applicant will work under the Radiologist's direction, perform CT and interventional procedures, and support students and staff in the Radiology department.

Qualifications

• Experience performing CT and/or interventional procedures as designated.
• Ability to assist Radiologists during procedures and input patient data into the RIS/PACS system.
• Ability to provide direction to student technologists and staff trainees.

About the Job

Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs special procedures such as computer tomography (CT), and/or interventional, as designated. Assists the Radiologists during procedure, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

This is a Permanent Part Time (0.82) opportunity.

Shifts of work will be scheduled rotating evenings and night shifts.
