Job summary

Acceldata is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our team and drive the adoption of the xLake Platform across customer environments. You will serve as the technical expert and a vital liaison between customers and the sales team, delivering tailored technical presentations and proof-of-concept implementations.

You will collaborate with enterprise accounts, design data solutions, craft proposals, and create documentation while educating the sales team on data observability concepts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a sales engineering or customer-facing role
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or related field
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
• Hands-on experience with Databricks or Snowflake
• Strong knowledge of data observability, data monitoring, data integration, and data quality products
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical concepts

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Acceldata teams to help clients and partners recognize the benefits of offerings
• Develop, customise, and conduct tailored technical presentations and product demonstrations
• Partner with Enterprise and Strategic Accounts teams to identify prospects’ environments and technical requirements
• Work with customers to design and develop solutions tailored to their data environments
• Develop technical proposals and assist with crafting statements of work (SOWs)
• Lead the implementation of POCs to demonstrate value and functionality in the customer environment
• Provide internal support to sales, presales, marketing, partner and product teams
• Educate the sales team on technical aspects of data observability solutions
• Assist in developing and maintaining technical documentation
