Job summary

Appnovation Technologies seeks a Senior Data Engineer, AI & Agents, to prepare enterprise domain data for AI agents. You will build domain-grounded data agents over governed datasets and drive lakehouse migrations across Databricks and Snowflake, ensuring data quality and governed access.

You will partner with business stakeholders and experts, translate requirements into delivered data assets, and contribute to data-contract workflows and security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering.
• 5+ years in data engineering with warehousing/lakehouse experience.
• Hands-on with Databricks and Snowflake.
• Experience building data agents over governed datasets.
• Strong SQL, PySpark, and orchestration (dbt, Airflow).
• Knowledge of data governance, masking, and security.
• Excellent stakeholder-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and register domain data agents over governed tables at scale.
• Perform lakehouse migrations, including open formats (Iceberg).
• Generate and curate catalogue metadata for automation workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders through iterative build, test, validation cycles.
