Position Summary:

This role reports to the Director of Brand Marketing and serves as the voice of the brand in the social space, creating innovative brand messaging and content that engages consumers and influencers across multiple social media platforms. This person acts as the organic social media strategist, content creator, and channel expert, aiming to communicate our brand positioning, boost engagement, and increase followers. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of social media expertise, including content ideation & creation, platform optimization, community engagement, social listening & reporting, campaign planning & execution, and a strong understanding of current trends.

Direct Responsibilities
Organic Channel Ownership
  • Create impactful social activities on owned channels to enhance brand awareness, favorability, and trust for REBEL.
  • Develop social media strategies on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Ensure strategies are on-brand, innovative, and differentiated by platform (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest).
  • Design strategies that drive follower growth and engagement.
  • Manage the social media calendar aligned with product marketing priorities and inventory.
  • Plan and execute all social content, including filming and editing short-form videos, both behind and in front of the camera.
  • Identify viral trends quickly and create relevant content.
  • Manage scheduling for social programs using integrated activity plans.
  • Execute quarterly social partnerships with like-minded brands to increase organic growth.
  • Design and implement social media reporting on metrics such as engagement, traffic, new customers, and revenue; share weekly reports with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging, imagery, and impact across copy, imagery, graphics, and videos.
  • Conduct seasonal social SWOT analyses and provide insights on competitors and successful brands in the market.
Community Engagement
  • Monitor and respond to all brand conversations on owned content and ads, using feedback to inform future campaigns.
  • Engage daily with other brands and relevant individuals on posts and pages.
  • Strategically incentivize influencers and community members to promote REBEL.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience managing social media, preferably within consumer products, either in an agency or client-side.
  • Proficiency across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
  • Ability to create and edit content, including filming and editing videos.
  • Comfortable representing REBEL publicly in content.
  • Strong copywriting and visual skills.
  • Experience with social editing and scheduling tools like TikTok and Instagram in-app editors, Iconosquare, Later, and Canva.
  • Deep understanding of authentic brand presence on social media and developing native strategies for each channel.
  • Ability to analyze social data and inform decision-making.
  • Stay at the forefront of social trends and culture, harnessing them responsibly while maintaining brand values.
  • Flexible and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
