Job summary

Vail Resorts in Whistler is seeking Snow School Coordinators to support our ski/snowboard school operations in an indoor environment. Starting wage is $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 term, with full-time hours available.

Employment type is winter seasonal; housing is available. The role requires minimum age 18, and candidates must pass a criminal record check. Competitive benefits include passes, lessons, discounts, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional customer service skills and problem solving.
  • Proficient with PC and MAC; MS Office, Google Drive, and related platforms.
  • Strong Excel and GIS knowledge is an asset.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Snow School or Whistler/Blackcomb Ski School is an asset.
  • Familiar with radio protocol and dispatch/first aid knowledge an asset.
  • Criminal record check required.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed guest expectations and create memorable mountain experiences.
  • Answer inquiries via phone, emails, or at the desk.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and bookings.
  • Assist with morning meetings and guest check-in.
  • Manage inventory of office supplies and GPS equipment.
  • Coordinate with Snow School and other departments for resources.
  • Maintain daily incident records and reports for leadership.
  • Collaborate with Supervisors and Managers; adapt to varying pace.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Resposibilites:

  • To continually strive to exceed our Guest's expectations and to create memories for guests and staff as the best mountain experience again and again
  • Answer any inquiries via phone, emails or at the desk/hut
  • Make sure all reporting and/or bookings is accurate and accounted for
  • Help with the morning meeting and greet guests, check-in when required
  • Responsible for inventory control of office supplies and/ or maintaining full inventory of flaik GPS equipment
  • Communicate with other departments as well as Snow School to ensure adequate resources are allocated to the situation
  • Complete accurate records of all incidents
  • Responsible for daily reports sent to Snow School Leadership Team
  • Work closely with the Supervisors and Managers
  • Adapt to varied work environment & pace - use your critical & creative thinking every day
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

The expected pay range is$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
