Job summary

Frito Lay Canada is seeking a Route Sales Representative to drive growth by selling and developing the business while servicing customers through delivery and merchandising. You will manage retail accounts such as grocery, gas and convenience stores, ensuring optimal product placement and availability.

This role requires a valid driver's license, access to a car, and schedule flexibility, with a focus on achieving sales targets, inventory management, and building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Valid full G or class 5 driver’s license.
• Access to a car or reliable, consistent car access.
• Scheduling flexibility: work schedule can vary (weekends/holidays included).
• Previous sales experience with consumer-packaged goods or retail preferred.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Executing hands-on activities: managing product placement on shelves, increasing shelf facings and displays, handling carton returns, inventory movement.
• Identifying changing customer needs through review of top-selling products.
• Developing assigned accounts relative to sales volume, market share, distribution, space allocation and service objectives.
• Selling and executing promotions, soliciting placement of marketing equipment and displays.
• Managing inventory to balance accounts and keep products fresh for customers.
