Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting a Skilled Labourer to join the Spruce Grove Composite High School project team in Spruce Grove, AB. The role involves general labour, basic carpentry, and assisting with concrete formwork.

Shift is Day with a schedule of 5 days on, 2 days off. Accommodations are local only. Monday to Friday with potential extended hours or weekends as required by the site. Must have CSTS/WHMIS and be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Basic carpentry skills are required on the project.
• CSTS/WHMIS certificates are required to work on site.

Responsibilities

• General labour duties
• Assisting with basic carpentry duties
• Assisting with concrete formwork, stripping formwork, chipping of concrete
• Using various hand and power tools (knowledge & experience with)
• General site cleanup and housekeeping
• Assisting with other duties as required

Requirements

• CSTS/ WHMIS Certificates
• Basic carpentry skills
• Experience with heating and hoarding is a huge asset
• Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry
• Capable of learning through on-the-job training
• Reliable transportation to get to work
• Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada
