Job summary

Jardeg is currently recruiting General Labourers for Jasper Constructors for the Mapleton area in Ontario. You will be involved in general site tasks, cleanup, and assisting with carpentry and concrete work.

Position is a day shift with potential overtime. Requires at least 2 years in construction, safety tickets, ability to lift 50 lbs, and reliable transport to Mapleton, ON. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the construction industry.
• Must have safety tickets: WHMIS, 4 Step Safety Certificate; working at heights is an asset.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Ability to use Construction Power Tools.
• General site cleanup and housekeeping.
• Rough carpentry work.
• Fence installation.
• Dewatering.
• Snow removal.
• Assisting with concrete formwork, stripping formwork.
• Review work area for damages and deficiencies.
• Assist with other duties as required.
