Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee yard operations under the Site Manager. You will lead and coordinate daily tasks, ensure quality, productivity, and safety requirements, and collaborate with management to optimize processes.

You will set performance goals, organize workflow, monitor staff, provide coaching, maintain timekeeping records, and prepare performance reports to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team supervision experience is preferred.
• Experience coordinating yard operations and safety compliance.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Set goals for performance and deadlines aligned with the company's plans and communicate them to subordinates.
• Organize workflow and ensure employees understand duties or delegated tasks.
• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Maintain timekeeping and personnel records.
• Share information from management to employees and vice versa.
• Prepare and submit performance reports.

Job Description

Reporting into the Site Manager, theSite Supervisorwill supervise, lead and control, in part, operational tasks relating to the yard. They will respond effectively to quality and productivity and health and safety requirements. They will see to the planning of operations and collaborate with management to continuously optimize and improve processes.
