Job summary

e4c seeks a Site Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across designated school sites within our Early Learning program. You will connect site-level service delivery with program goals, strengthen staff capacity, and foster strong relationships with schools, families, and community partners.

The role requires 8+ years in early education, 5+ years of leadership, and a commitment to trauma-informed, resiliency-based practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in an early education environment or related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience with staff development.

Responsibilities

• Lead interdisciplinary teams and establish clear roles, processes, and best practices to support effective day-to-day program operations and quality service delivery.
• Manage program operations and service delivery planning to achieve program goals, outcomes, and participant needs.
• Lead family-centred programming that reflects the diverse needs, strengths, and experiences of participants.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, and service providers to strengthen community connections, partnerships, resources, and participant supports.
• Promote and monitor health, safety, and leading practices across program sites, including compliance with applicable standards and protocols.
• Observe classroom activities and program delivery, providing coaching, feedback, and support to staff to strengthen practice and overall program quality.
• Partner with Human Resources to support staffing, recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, professional development, and staff goal-setting.
• Provide ongoing supervision and support through performance observation, recognition, constructive feedback, documentation, and follow-up on critical incidents or crisis situations.
• Oversee program administration, including budgets, timecards, leave management, records, funding applications, reports, and compliance with funder requirements and deadlines.
• Identify and mitigate operational, health and safety, and program risks by coordinating with OHS, HR, maintenance, and other partners to support safe, compliant, and effective program environments.

Position Summary

Qualifications

Education

• Degree or diploma in Human Services, Education, Early Learning and Child Care, Speech-Language Pathology, Social Work, or a related field.

Certification

• Standard First Aid and CPR.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and vehicle
• Proof of vehicle insurance, registration and 3-year drivers abstract.
• Child Development Certificate is considered an asset.
• Leadership Challenge Completion Certificate is considered an asset.
• Mental Health First Aid certification is considered an asset.
• De-escalation training is considered an asset.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience working in an early education environment, school, or related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience, including the ability to manage and motivate staff through strengths-based coaching, support, and development.
• Experience working with socially, economically, and/or culturally diverse children and families.
• Experience working with children experiencing developmental delays is considered an asset.
• Experience working within an interdisciplinary team.
• Working knowledge and experience applying resiliency, trauma-informed, solution-focused, and relationship-based practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, database applications, and general computer operations.
