The successful candidate will supervise showroom staff, manage schedules, and ensure a high standard of customer service while driving sales in a fast-paced environment. A strong plumbing sales background and excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of plumbing sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain motivated showroom teams.
• Train staff on systems and procedures.
• Lead weekly meetings and encourage participation.
• Conduct performance reviews and report to management.
• Manage work schedules and showroom appearance.
• Handle customer complaints and issues.
• Coordinate between homeowners, designers, installers, vendors and team members.
• Create positive experiences and lasting relationships with customers.

Wage is $29.00 per hour, plus commission and may be scaled with relevant education and/or experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining successful and motivated teams
• Responsible for employee training with systems and procedures
• Conducting weekly meetings, share, communicate, encourage participation
• Conduct employee performance reviews / report to management
• Maintain employee work schedules
• Responsible for showroom cleanliness and overall appearance
• Dealing with customer complaints and issues
• Quarterback between homeowners/designers/installers/vendors & team mates
• Create positive experiences & lasting relationships throughout the wholesale/retail

Essential:

• Completion of Grade 12
• Minimum 2 years previous plumbing sales experience
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Sales driven and goal oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use a point-of-sale system
• Ability to build relationships with customers
• Excellent interpersonal skills
