Job summary

Green Tech Group, a major John Deere dealership in Eastern Canada, seeks a sales professional for Ontario and Quebec. You will represent the company to clients, assess needs, and sell equipment while maintaining follow-up and territory growth.

Training is available and performance bonuses accompany base salary. You will join a team that emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and ongoing vendor training with John Deere to stay ahead of market trends.

Qualifications

• Interest to start a career in sales.
• Passion for agriculture, business or industrial fields.
• Functional English is a plus for serving English-speaking clients.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening and understanding client needs.
• Persuasive, tenacious, autonomous and disciplined with a customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to existing and future clients to assess needs and sell equipment.
• Follow up with clients by phone or in person.
• Maintain a client follow-up register for sales activity.
• Develop the assigned territory to grow market share and sell equipment.
• Conduct demonstrations for clients and complete sales documentation.

YOU LOVE TO :

• Represent the company to existing and future clients, in order to assess their needs and to sell them the appropriate equipment / machinery,
• Regularly conduct courtesy follow-ups with clients by telephone or by visiting them,
• Maintain a follow-up register for clients and sales, as defined by the company,
• Maintain a privileged relationship with existing clients, in order to retain them,
• Develop the territory assigned by the sales manager, so as to increase the company’s market shares and sell equipment / machinery to future clients,
• Carry out demonstration to clients,
• Carefully fill out all documents related to sales transactions,
• Constantly update your knowledge about products, benefits and features of all the equipment / machinery sold by the company, by partaking in John Deere training activities,
• Stay informed about market trends that may affect present and future sales,
• At all times, comply with the standards and policies regarding health and safety in the workplace.
