Groupe JLD-Laguë is hiring a Compact Equipment Mechanic in Chicoutimi, QC. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing equipment, both on-site and on the road, with training provided by John Deere.

You will become a mobile expert, solving mechanical challenges and delivering high-quality service to clients. The ideal candidate has a vocational mechanics diploma, 5+ years of workshop/road technician experience, and a passion for agriculture and industry.

Qualifications

• Vocational diploma in mechanics or related field.
• Five years’ experience as a workshop or road technician.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment; act as a mobile expert for clients.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide fast, efficient service.
• Receive training from John Deere and advance technical skills.

IDEALLY, YOU HAVE:

• A vocational diploma in mechanics (construction machines, agricultural equipment, heavy machinery or any other related equipment),
• Five years’ experience and + as a workshop or road technician,
• You are passionate about agriculture, business or the industrial field,
• Manual dexterity, ability to diagnose mechanical problems, autonomous, resourceful, quick to execute and disciplined, as well as a passion for customer service!
