Job summary

Harry Rosen Inc. in Toronto seeks a Shoe Specialist to lead the shoe department and develop a clientele that recognizes the key role in delivering a superior service experience to our discerning customers.

The role emphasizes personal sales, product knowledge, and training others, with compensation comprising a fixed base and variable bonuses and commissions; prior luxury retail or footwear experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years retail sales experience, preferably in luxury environment or footwear.
• Experience in sportswear, accessories, outerwear, tailored clothing is preferred.
• Passion for inspiring repeat business via exceptional service both online and in-store.
• Desire to participate in training initiatives and apply skills daily.
• Interest in technology and using innovations to support retail service.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

As a Shoe Specialist, you will lead the shoe department and develop a clientele that recognizes their key role in delivering a superior service experience to our discerning customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead by Example and focus on the achievement of sales goals within the shoe department.
• Promote the footwear collection, reinforcing the different lifestyle components.
• Deliver personal sales and holistic selling in‑store, building relationships with customers and creating repeat clientele.
• Deliver product knowledge training to advisors, developing taste level and brand image.
• Communicate with buying and visual teams to ensure the product inventory and spirit of the brand is represented.
• Participate and coordinate trunk shows.
• Inspire repeat exceptional customer experiences both online and in‑store through consistent training.
• Demonstrate interest and ability to develop others and lead team building toward financial goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years retail sales experience, preferably in a luxury environment, footwear or department leadership.
• Experience in sportswear, footwear, accessories, outerwear, tailored clothing, and made‑to‑measure preferred.

Benefits and Compensation

Compensation is comprised of variable commission, variable team bonus and a fixed base salary; the starting average annual income is $50,000 – $70,000. The more you sell, the more you earn.
