Job summary

M and J Woodcrafts in Delta, BC, is seeking a Day Shift Working Supervisor to lead the shipping and receiving department and work closely with Customer Service and the Plant Foreman. You will organize the department, prioritize daily shipments, pack and ship finished doors, perform quality checks, recount orders, and assist Customer Service and machine operators.

Requirements include punctuality, ability to lift 40–70 lbs, forklift operation, self-motivation, and ERP experience; the role is

Qualifications

• Candidates must be on-time and reliable.
• Must be able to lift 40–70 lbs and stand, walk, bend, etc. all day.
• Self-motivated; able to work without direct supervision.
• Must know how to operate a forklift.
• Minimum 5 years experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize the shipping/receiving department and team.
• Plan and prioritize daily shipments.
• Package and ship finished doors.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Recount orders to ensure correct piece counts before shipping.
• Assist Customer Service and foreman on the plant floor.
• Assist machine operators with saws/routers/press.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Handle other duties as required.

Duties:

Shifts:

• The Day shift is Monday to Friday from 6:60 am to 3:30 pm, with every second Friday off.
• Overtime may be required.
