DBG Limited in Mississauga is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Associate to maintain a safe, organized warehouse, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate ERP records. The role requires following QMS, EMS, and Health & Safety standards and collaboration with internal departments.

Responsibilities include inventory control, bin inspections, label and inspect raw materials on arrival, and processing packing slips and bills of lading as needed.

Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office proficiency (1 year) required.
  • Counterbalance propane operation experience (3 years).
  • Shipping and receiving experience (1 year).
  • Manufacturing experience (1 year) required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe work environment and organize the warehouse.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and update inventory records.
  • Follow Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Inspect bins entering/leaving the warehouse and identify repairs.
  • Report damaged or missing chocks for replacement.
  • Load and unload trailers following safety protocols.
  • Manage ERP entries for inventory receipts and subcontracting items.
  • Maintain standard packs and weights in ERP data.
  • Label and inspect raw materials on arrival.
  • Print and update packing slips and bills of lading as needed.
  • Assist with inventory management across finished goods, WIP, and raw materials.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and perform physical counts.
  • Adhere to QMS, EMS, and Health & Safety policies and risk management.

Job description

  • Maintain a safe work environment, uphold good housekeeping standards, and ensure the organization of the warehouse.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and maintain inventory records through accurate spreadsheet updates.
  • Adhere to all Management Systems, including Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Assist in the inspection of bins, identifying those requiring repair as they enter or leave the warehouse.
  • Report damaged or missing chocks to the Supervisor or Manager for immediate replacement.
  • Load and unload trailers as required, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Perform cycle counts as needed to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Tag and store all materials returned from outside service suppliers in the correct locations.
  • Enter, edit, and post all inventory receipts and sub-contracting items into the ERP System immediately.
  • Maintain a list of standard packs and weights, ensuring ERP System data is accurate for net weight and standard packs.
  • Assist with labeling and inspecting raw materials upon arrival.
  • Visually inspect bins entering or leaving the plant and complete inspection forms as required.
  • Print and update packing slips and bills of lading as needed to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with Inventory Management, including finished goods, Work in Process, and raw materials, ensuring all necessary transactions are processed timely to maintain control. Coordinate with various internal departments as necessary.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and reconciliation as required.
  • Work in compliance with QMS, EMS, and Health & Safety standards, ensuring conformance to all Policies, Objectives, Impact & Aspect, and Hazard and Risk management protocols.
