Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. in Guelph, ON is seeking a Shipper/Receiver (Forklift) to operate in the warehouse, cooler and freezer areas while receiving materials and shipping finished goods. The role supports inventory control, order accuracy and food-safety compliance.

The position is full-time with shifts Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Proficiency with MHE, SAP, and Microsoft Office is required, along with strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Safe and proper operation of MHE and maintain MHE Certification in good standing.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to record and document information with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operational inspections and operate forklifts and related equipment.
• Complete HACCP & Quality Assurance forms for traceability.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas; stock and inventory counts.
• Adhere to SOPs for components and packaging; follow FIFO.
• Load and receive trailers and perform timely inventory counts.
• Provide support to production teams and learn SAP and Microsoft Office usage.
• Handle receiving and shipping paperwork and prepare required documents.
• Use the warehouse management system to receive and ship products in the warehouse.
• Work with minimal supervision and communicate professionally.
