Randstad Canada is seeking a proactive Forklift Operator and Material Handler for a temporary role in Ottawa, ON. You will work with a small team to ensure smooth warehouse operations during peak season, with a daytime Mon-Fri schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

The role involves safely operating a propane-powered forklift and order picker, heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, accurate order picking, and general warehouse duties while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid and current Forklift License for sit-down forklift and order picker.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual material handling.
• Reliable transportation to the Ottawa site for a 7:00 AM start.

Responsibilities

• Operate a propane-powered forklift and order picker safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Perform manual material handling and heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) for approximately 60% of the shift.
• Conduct manual order picking with a high degree of accuracy to meet daily shipping targets.
• Assist with general warehouse organization, cleaning, and support tasks as required.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse standards to maintain a secure working environment.

Position: Shipper / Forklift Operator

Location: Ottawa, ON

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid break)

Compensation: $21/hour
