Job summary

Precision Drilling is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to support shop operations in Alberta, Canada. The role coordinates shipping/receiving, verifies materials, and maintains accurate inventory records while adhering to safety standards.

The successful candidate will have 1–2 years in warehousing or logistics, forklift certification, and familiarity with inventory systems. A strong team player with good organizational skills will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in warehousing, logistics, or related field is an asset
• 1-2 years of experience in warehouse, shipping & receiving, logistics, or material-handling operations
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) and experience with inventory or warehouse management systems are assets
• Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and material flow processes; ability to verify documentation and resolve discrepancies
• Strong organizational, communication, and safety skills; ability to prioritize work and collaborate with teams

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including picking, packing, staging, loading, unloading, and preparing freight documentation
• Receive, inspect, verify, label, and distribute materials and equipment while identifying and escalating discrepancies or damage
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in compliance with HSE and site requirements
• Process inventory transactions, maintain tracking records, replenish stock, and support cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy
• Maintain organized, hazard-free work areas, communicate material status and priorities with stakeholders, and support overtime and on-call requirements as needed

DAY IN THE LIFE:
