Job summary

Olympic-Building-Centre-Northern-Division seeks a meticulous Yard and Warehouse Receiver to ensure inbound materials meet quality standards for customers. You will report to the Operations Manager and support accurate receiving and safe storage across yards and warehouses.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, rotating stock, keeping areas clean, assisting in other yard roles, and conducting daily forklift checks. A safety-focused team environment awaits you.

• Cross-train and assist in other yard roles.
• Conduct daily forklift checks for safe operation and report issues.
• Coordinate with Receiving/Warehouse Specialist for safe storage of materials.
• Operate all equipment safely as directed.

Job description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Yard and Warehouse Receiver position ensures all inbound materials are accurate and of high quality for all our customers.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments following our detailed process to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Maintain personal and company quality assurance standards as set in corporate program.
• Stock items are to be rotated when they are put away.
• Keep yard and warehouses clean of debris and well organized.
• Provide quality service to customers.
• Crosstrain and assist in other yard roles as instructed by supervisor.
• Conduct daily check of forklifts to ensure safe operation; report required maintenance or damage.
• Work with the Receiving and Warehouse Specialist to ensure materials are stored in safe and proper locations in both the yard and inside warehouses.
• Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct and careful manner, as instructed.
