Job summary

Randstad Canada is launching a new distribution centre and seeks three dedicated operators to establish workflow, culture and safety from day one.

You will manage inventory layouts, operate Reach Trucks, Dock Stockers and Walkies, and meet daily fulfillment targets with a strong safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience operating Reach Trucks, Dock Stockers, and Walkies.
• Hold valid, current certifications for all three machines.
• Own a vehicle for daily commuting to the facility.
• Demonstrate punctuality, attendance, and safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Reach Truck, walkie, and dock stocker to move goods within the warehouse.
• Perform precise put-away and retrieval of pallets in narrow-aisle, high-rack systems.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and ensure counts are accurate.
• Transport goods from receiving dock to storage locations efficiently.
• Conduct daily safety inspections on equipment before shifts.

Your Impact

• Orchestrate the Launch: Actively receive, organize, and configure inventory layouts to optimize our brand-new building setup.
• Precision Driving: Safely command Reach Trucks, Dock Stockers, and Walkies to skillfully transport, stack, and secure high-value products.
• Champion Safety: Maintain an immaculate workspace, mitigate risks, and crush daily fulfillment targets without compromising safety.

Who You Are

• Proven Expertise: Bring 1 to 2 years of hands‑on experience operating Reach Trucks, Dock Stockers, and Walkies.
• Certified Professional: Hold valid, current certifications for all three required machines.
• Reliable Commuter: Possess a personal vehicle ensuring independent, dependable daily travel to the facility.
• Elite Professionalism: Demonstrate exceptional punctuality, rock‑solid attendance, and an uncompromising safety‑first mindset.

Shifts & Compensation

• Morning Shift (2 Openings): Monday to Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM $21.60/hr
• Afternoon Shift (1 Opening): Sunday to Thursday 3:45 PM – 12:15 AM $22.60/hr

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Reach Truck, walkie and dock stocker to move home improvement products throughout the warehouse.
• Perform precise put‑away and retrieval of pallets in narrow‑aisle, high‑racking systems.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and make sure all product counts are 100% accurate.
• Transport goods from the receiving dock to their proper storage locations efficiently.
• Perform quick, daily safety inspections on your Reach Truck before your shift starts.

Qualifications

• Valid Reach Truck/Dock stocker Forklift certification or ticket.
• At least 1 to 2 years of solid experience driving a Reach Truck/Walkie in a busy warehouse environment.
• Must own and wear CSA‑approved steel‑toed boots.
• Comfortable working 8‑hour shifts and maintaining focus during high‑rack maneuvers.
• Ready to commit to a steady, long‑term role.
