Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a certified and seasoned Forklift Operator to join our Vaughan, ON warehouse team. This hands-on role focuses on precise material movement to ensure efficient daily distribution and accuracy.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, pay between $22 and $24 per hour, and a contract with potential for extension. Experience with reach forklifts and a valid certification are beneficial for a safe, productive operation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating reach forklifts
• Valid forklift certification is an asset
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Previous warehouse/manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate reach forklifts to move, stack, and organize high-volume inventory with safety as a priority
• Carry out dock operations by loading/unloading trailers and containers to keep workflow flowing
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and identify hazards to maintain a safe workplace
• Secure outbound cargo by staging and wrapping pallets to prevent damage during transit
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and organized stock management
• Perform other duties as assigned as needed

• Execute dock operations by safely loading and unloading trailers and containers to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly while proactively identifying and eliminating workplace hazards.
• Secure outbound cargo by staging and wrapping pallets to ensure stability and prevent damage during transit.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and organized stock management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience operating the reach forklift.
• Valid forklift certification is an asset.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
