Job summary

Casino Vancouver is seeking a Shift Manager for Cage, Slots and Guest Services. You will lead daily operations on a shift basis and foster a safe, welcoming environment for team members.

You will oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance while ensuring compliance with policies and licensing requirements. The role requires a flexible schedule and strong customer service focus.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education or a suitable combination of education and experience is an asset.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnight shifts.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in slot or cage operations.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience.
• Serving it Right Certification.
• Ability to obtain a Gaming License.
• Computer literacy in MS Office.
• Literacy in CARRS, TABS3 and Kronos an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide input for team member performance objectives and evaluations.
• Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to department members.
• Schedule and supervise team members; edit timesheets for payroll.
• Oversee team member training and assign shift work.
• Resolve customer disputes; report irregularities and incidents; prepare CRS reports.
• Implement new operations initiatives as directed.
• Assist in recruitment and hiring processes.
• Maintain inventories and supplies; liaise with departments.
