Casino Vancouver in Coquitlam is seeking a Table Games Dealer to provide dealing services while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for guests and team members. You will support fast-paced gaming operations, oversee bets, and communicate with operations to ensure smooth table play.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, graveyards, and holidays, with a focus on accuracy, math skills, and customer service excellence. Opportunities for growth in a dynamic entertainment venue.

Competenze

• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• Experience dealing Blackjack, Poker and/or Roulette is an asset.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, graveyards and holidays.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to obtain Serving It Right certification.
• Ability to obtain a Gaming Worker License.

Under the direct supervision of the Gaming Manager, Table Games, this position is responsible for providing dealing services to customers while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities

• Deals tables games (Combination of Blackjack, Poker or Roulette)
• Maintains the security of the table and its float
• Controls the table in the correct order of play; closes bets at the appropriate time
• Refers disputes, irregularities or suspicious activities to the Manager
• Verifies chip refills and credits
• Tidies workstation and pit area
• Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
• Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
• Complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service
• Experience dealing Blackjack, Poker and/or Roulette is an asset
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, graveyards and holidays
• Strong mathematical skills
• Ability to successfully obtain Serving It Right certification
• Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming Worker License

• Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time and non-traditional work hours.
