Job summary

Northern Reflections, Ricki’s, and Cleo are recruiting a Shift Leader to support daily store operations in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will lead the team on assigned shifts and help deliver an exceptional in-store experience for customers.

You will drive sales, coach associates, maintain visual merchandising, manage POS tasks, and uphold loss-prevention standards while promoting customer loyalty.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail or customer service experience, leadership preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and selling skills.
• Understanding of retail operations, visual merchandising and loss prevention.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations, achieve sales goals, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Provide on-the-floor leadership in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by following our customer service program.
• Drive customer loyalty by promoting and enrolling customers in our loyalty program.
• Coach, support, and provide feedback to sales associates to help them meet productivity goals and improve performance.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, including product displays and in-store layouts.
• Perform point of sale transactions quickly and accurately.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for both customers and the store team, following all loss prevention procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and initiatives.

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Shift Leader supports the daily operations of our store and delivers an exceptional in-store experience for our customers. As part of the store leadership team, the Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing the store during assigned shifts, including opening and closing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supportdaily store operations, including achieving sales goals and delivering anexceptional customer experience.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum1–2 years of retail or customer service experience, preferably in a leadershipor supervisory role
• Proventrack record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance
• Stronginterpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspirea team
• Excellentcustomer service and selling skills
• Solidunderstanding of retail operations, including visual merchandising and lossprevention
• Strongorganizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortableworking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Mustbe able to stand for extended periods of time, climb a ladder and to move andhandle boxes of merchandise (weighing up to 30 pounds) and fixtures throughoutthe store
• Flexibleavailability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
