Reporting to the Manager or designate, the successful candidate will operate, maintain, and repair building systems and equipment.

This role involves performing trade duties at a level approaching that of a journeyman in one or various construction trade areas. The work includes building demolition, renovation, construction tasks, and may involve building system operation and/or maintenance. The position may also include carrying out related administrative duties and supervising designated staff.

The incumbent must follow applicable organizational policies, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications: Education, Training, and Experience

• Certificate of competency as a 5th Class Power Engineer with Boiler endorsement recognized by the Province of BC.
• Two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid Class 5 Vehicle License.
