Our Techs deliver exceptional service by repairing and maintaining ag/turf equipment. As one of Canada's top John Deere dealers, you will deliver quality work in a friendly and collaborative environment that encourages learning and growth. This is a great opportunity to use state-of-the-art ag tech and be part of the future of agriculture. The shift structure on the repair side of the shop is new and may rotate among morning, afternoon, or evening shifts, possibly including a modified or compressed week. This role is eligible for shift premiums in addition to the base wage.

Responsibilities

1. Inspection, diagnosis, repair, and service of agricultural equipment, with a commitment to customer support and pride in workmanship.
2. Diagnose and complete complex repairs.
3. Perform preventative maintenance.
4. Maintain current knowledge of John Deere agricultural products.
5. Participate in training to further develop technical skills.

Requirements

1. Ability to use diagnostic tools and computer functions.
2. 3+ years of experience with complex repairs.
3. Journeyperson Ag Tech certification is ideal, or equivalent (e.g., Heavy Equipment, Auto).
4. We may consider a 3rd or 4th-year Apprenticeship candidate.
5. Knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products is an asset.
