Job summary

Bosch Truck Group Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair a modern fleet of highway coaches and school buses in BC. You will review repair orders, perform diagnostics, and ensure safe, reliable service for customers.

The role requires a Red Seal certification or Journeyman status, with CVIP being a plus; strong electrical, engine, and brake system expertise is essential. Opportunity for training and advancement is provided in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Heavy Duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman required or equivalent.
• CVIP License is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities on diesel engines and drive trains.

Responsibilities

• Prepare service jobs by reviewing orders and arranging tools, parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs per procedures.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and keep area clean.
• Document findings, communicate issues, and close out repair orders.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices and support their development.
• Promote safety and proper tooling practices in the shop.

We are looking for a Service Technician with the drive and ambition to succeed in a dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Service / Coach Bus Technician is responsible for maintaining a modern fleet of highway coaches and school buses. If you take pride in ensuring passengers travel safely and comfortably across BC, we want you on our team. Responsibilities shall include:

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following established procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
• Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development.
• Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification
• BC Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) License is preferred
• Diagnosing and repairing advanced diesel engines, drive train, and air brake systems/ air ride systems
• Troubleshooting complex multiplex electrical systems and specialized coachHVAC units
• Class 2 or better drivers license an asset
